Archdiocese of New York Pastoral Grants Program
About The Program
The Archdiocese of New York Sharing God’s Gifts Pastoral Grants Program is a new initiative focused on supporting parishes and local communities in delivering pastoral ministry programs to God’s people. It invites parishes in the Archdiocese of New York to reimagine faith formation and community engagement at all levels.
This program has been made possible by the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal.
The program offers grant opportunities to strengthen ministry initiatives within the parish. These grants are specifically aimed at revitalizing five key pastoral ministry areas: (1) Adult Discipleship and Marriage Formation, (2) Respect Life, (3) Youth Faith Formation, (4) Youth Ministry and Young Adult Ministry and the University Apostolate, and, (5) Cultural Diversity, by fostering innovative approaches to program development.
Additional guidance for applicants is provided at the beginning of the grant application.

Fiscal Year 2026 Cycle 2 Application and Timeline
- FY26 Cycle 2: Application Available: March 18, 2026
- FY26 Cycle 2: Application Deadline: April 27, 2026
- 2026 March for Life Transportation Grant Disbursements: Thank you to all recipients for submitting required documents. Accounts payable is currently processing payments.
- FY26 Cycle 1 Grant Disbursement: When all grant recipients submit their grant agreements, ACH forms, and voided checks, payments will be scheduled.
