About The Program

The New York Catholic Youth Day Transportation Grant Program is a new initiative from the Archdiocese of New York designed to help parishes offset transportation costs for youth and students attending New York Catholic Youth Day. This grant aims to reduce the financial burden on families and expand access for more young people to participate in this vibrant, faith-filled weekend.

2027 Application and Timeline

New York Catholic Youth Day will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2027 (High School Day) and Sunday, April 18, 2027 (Middle School Day), from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Application Schedule

  • Grant Program Application Available:
    October 1, 2026

  • Application Submission Deadline:
    February 22, 2027
    (11:59PM EST)
  • Notification of Approval/Rejection:
    Week of March 1, 2027
  • Grant Disbursement:
    May 7, 2027
